Marlo's 1st Birthday Party...A Couple Weeks Early

As I said before, we decided to couple Marlo's birthday party with her baby dedication.  She was definitely feeling the long day by the time the cake rolled around.  We are so thankful for the family that made it down.  I found this cherry cake and decided that it would be the theme of the party, which was very low key.  Marlo enjoyed the balloons, wasn't too sure what to do with the presents but liked "reading" the cards, and did not want anything to do with her cake.  This was  shock since she pretty much eats anything.  I am sure my girl will come around.  In fact, maybe she just needed a chocolate cake:)

She loves this doll...but a little secret...Liam played with the stroller and doll quite a bit too.  I am not sure the stroller was made for high speed races but he sure has put it to the test.
