When we got back from the wedding, Arden turned 8 months old. She has been one sick little thing. With viruses, ear infections, and a sinus infection, we are definitely glad she is better and her appetite is coming back. She is now a big girl and loves sitting in her high chair at the table with all of us. She is aware of more going on around her and has an opinion about things when they don't go her way. She cries when something is taken away and pushes away if she does not like something...usually her brother or sister in her face. She has started hitting her fists together when we say "yay" and will play patty cake.
Arden shows no signs of crawling but she rolls and rolls and rolls everywhere. She seems to be content with this form of mobility. She can now hold her own bottle too, which is such a great milestone for her mommy!! She says a lot of babababa and dadadadada. In addition to all of that big news, her hair is coming in thicker and with more of a coarse texture and body. She definitely isn't going to have the straight hair of Marlo and Liam and it looks like the red hair is here to stay.
