Arden 9 Months

Arden turned 9 months on August 21st.  At her 9 month appointment, she weighed 20 pounds 14 ounces and was 28.5 inches long.  She continues to be a healthy baby girl.  The only issue I talked with the doctor about was her eating.  She still gags often and when given any food that isn't pureed, no matter how soft, she either spits it out or gags and throws it up.  If the texture is weird, she won't even put it in her mouth.  The doctor said to just keep working with her and if by 12 months, she isn't better, we can do food therapy.  She said after a couple times of that, she will have it down.  I have been trying each day at lunch time to give her finger food and practice.

Arden has her two front teeth and is getting one more bottom tooth.  She really is the best teether.  We don't even know when she is getting a tooth until we see it.  She may have a day or two of fussiness but she really is amazing!!

Arden is sitting from laying down, crawling backwards, and is super happy with that.  She is a smiley little girl.  We have moved her to a bath seat in the tub and she loves it.  Arden finally says "mama" but only sometimes.  Why is it that it is always dadadadada???

Arden now takes 2 naps each day and sleeps well at night.  She has moved up to 12 month clothes and grown her first CURL.  Those of you that have seen my other two kids' hair, you know what a big difference this is from them.

We love our baby girl!!
