We celebrated Blake's 30th birthday at the beginning of the month and Liam's baby dedication was this past weekend. Blake and I and a few friends went out to Chops, a great steak place in Atlanta. His birthday was not quite what we had hoped since he was sick the whole week before and Liam got sick again the day of Blake's birthday. Blake was trooper though.
The baby dedication was nice. Mom and Dad came down for it and Laura came to it as well. We were instructed to make a list of five values we want Liam to leave our home with and to decide how we are going implement those values daily. We also were instructed to write a letter to Liam that he will read when he is older. I like that we got to talk about these things again. It is good to remind ourselves of the big picture.
