Liam "standing"
Happy 30th!!!
Sisters:)
Liam only sucks his thumb when he has this blanket, which he sleeps with. I had to get a picture
I feel like I have seen this look somewhere before:)
Bad idea...feeding Liam macaroni and cheese without a bib or clothes
Happy Easter and 10 Months old
This is THE face....CHEESE
So much fun outside with the Easter eggs....Liam really didn't like the grass though
Liam turned 10 months last Thursday. I as most of you know, I also turned the big 3-0. I honestly can't think of a better way to ring in a new decade than with the wonderful friends and family I am truly blessed to have...... and I always have a great sister to celebrate with:)
Liam has been very active this month. He is crawling EVERYWHERE and trying to get into any cabinet, drawer, or door that he can. He is mainly pulling up to his knees but over the last week or so, he has pulled up to his feet. He can stay as long as he is supported by something or someone but he is often on his tip toes. He is talking more and more and can now say mamamamama, which I have been waiting for. We swear that he is saying "hi" but of course it would be a little early for that. He says it when we are out and see people or when people walk in our house so it seems fitting, but who knows. We have tried to teach Liam some baby sign language. The main two we are working on are "more" and "all done." He has pretty much gotten the "all done," especially when he doesn't like something. Liam will wave sometimes but doesn't have that down completely. We are thankful that so far, separation anxiety has been limited. I don't think we have hit the peak of that yet though so we will wait and see.
We went to the doctor a few weeks ago for Liam's blocked tear ducts in both eyes. He is scheduled to have the procedure to open/flush them on April 15th. They do have to put him under but reassured us that after a good nap, he will be ready to go the same day. I was worried about this at first but his eyes are bothering him a lot now so I just want it taken care of.
Liam is learning to be cute and has quite a few tricks up his sleeve. He enjoys playing peek-a-boo still but now he hides from us and smiles when he pops out from behind a curtain or blanket. He will sometimes cough for attention too. He is laughing at more things like funny faces, sounds, and himself. He has developed a very cheesy smile, which I will post pictures of. We don't know where this came from but he uses it to flirt with ladies while he is out or to greet friends and family.
I have been told by Liam's weekday teachers that Liam is "all boy." We have noticed his love of banging things together, tearing things apart and knocking things over. It is fascinating to me how innate this is. Liam is also very curious, which the teacher in me loves.
Liam is eating a mixture of finger foods and purees. He is not a fan of most meat but loved the ham from Easter. He still enjoys all fruits and cheeses but his favorite thing is strawberries. As far as regular food goes, I would say his favorite is pizza. We are trying to feed him what we are having as much as possible. He doesn't warm up to most foods the first time so we just keep trying.
As the weather turns, we are getting excited for summer. Liam loves water so we are hoping he will love the pool. We are looking forward to a weekend with family this weekend.

Dawn,
I just put the 15th on my calendar to pray for Liam's surgery (and you). Let me know if I can do anything for you!
Dawn- Colton started saying about 10 different words right at 11 months old so I am SURE Liam is saying (or trying to say!) "Hi" if you think he is. Hi and Bye are two of Colton's favorite words, I think because he is so social. :-) Colton has had a "language explosion" the last month. He's 17 months and probably says about 50 words now and says a new one everyday. He also at the same time has finally started having separation anxiety. I kept reading it could start at 8 months and was starting to think we were going to bypass it- haha! Sounds like Liam will probably be late with that too. He is SO SO adorable. 10-16 months is the most precious, fun time I think- ENJOY!
