This past weekend was a busy one but so enjoyable. Blake and Liam took me out to breakfast for Mother's day on Saturday. Then, Blake helped a friend move while Liam and I hung out. Saturday night we went to the Zac Brown Band Concert. Sunday, Blake got up with Liam and took care of all the morning routine, which was a HUGE present. I told him that it is ironic that my gift for Mother's Day was time off from being a mom. He went and got me my favorite bagel and he said Liam insisted on getting me flowers. I even got a very sweet card, which many of you know that I love and Blake thinks is a waste of money. After church, we spent the day relaxing and took Liam's on his first trip to the park. Of course we took many pictures. I am so thankful for my wonderful family and our amazing moms and grandmas this Mother's Day.

So glad you had a great first Mother's Day!! I love cards too and Jim also thinks they are pointless so I never get one from him. All I wanted was to go to church as a family and play at the park later but my tonsillitis (strep?) is terrible so none of that happened. Oh well, last year was great and next year is sure to be much better. Colton still made me laugh a lot as always. That's probably all that matters! :-)
