19 Months

Liam is doing great and getting back to himself from all our travels.  As he went back to school on Tuesday, his teachers commented on his love of the word "no."  He also has figured out how to throw a fit when he doesn't get what he wants.  He gets on the floor and kicks his feet, which Blake did one time with him and he looked at Blake like "what are you doing Dad?"  You can tell he is frustrated and just doesn't know what to do about it.  We are working on using his words but know that this is probably the beginning of more fun times to come.

Liam has started saying a few phrases like "where is it? and where are you?"  It is so crazy how much he imitates us.  I hear him saying "where is it? huh? huh?" and then a few minutes later I realize I am saying the same things.  I even found him with my eyelash curlers up to his eye today.  I told Blake maybe he should start shaving more around him or something.

On another funny note, Liam's teacher came and found me while I was volunteering the other day.  Liam was crying and she thought he was about to have another busted lip...turns out that he tried to get a purple crayon from a girl in his class and she knocked him down.  He sure does love purple:)

Liam continues to LOVE Duncan.  He calls for him all the time.  What he doesn't love though is when Duncan is on my lap.  He often tries to pick Duncan's paws up to move him.  It should be interesting when we eventually have another kid around.

We are having a great time watching our little guy grow and often find ourselves laughing and amazed at the new things he does each day.
