Christmas-Just the 3 of us

Before we left for Missouri and Illinois for Christmas, we celebrated just the 3 of us, well 4 if we count Duncan:)  It was such a nice day.  We stayed up the night before getting things wrapped and putting things together.  In the morning, when Liam woke up, we brought him downstairs to see his presents.  After the opening was complete, we went to Waffle House for breakfast.  I am not sure if this will be a new tradition but it sure was nice not to have to cook.  Liam loves waffles and so do we so it worked out for all of us.  We came back and I realized that the best present I got was to see our little guy so excited about everything and as a bonus, he kept himself pretty busy, which gave me some time to pack and get ready for our trip.  Blake and I continued with our tradition of exchanging ornaments.  This year, we got each other the EXACT same one!  We had a nice laugh and will hang them both up next year.  This is the third year out of about 10 we have done this.
