Well today has been an interesting day. We started the morning off excited for Liam's first day of a new school year. I got him dressed took pictures and we were off to go get waffles, Liam's favorite breakfast. When Blake left, he said Liam felt a little warm. I didn't think much of it because Liam was acting like his normal self, which you will see in the pictures below. We packed up, got to Waffle House, sat down and I noticed Liam was shivering and his teeth were chattering. I knew he wasn't fine. We left before we even ordered and came back to our house. Sure enough, he had a fever of 102.5. His fever has been up to 103.5 and then down and was back up again tonight. We are hoping this is a quick virus but who knows. All I do know is, I am glad we didn't go all the way to school before figuring it all out. After watching Cars several times and Toy Story too, I can say that while I do not like seeing our little guy sick, I would not trade the day of cuddles on the couch for anything. This little guy has never been much of a cuddler unless he is sick. I am convinced that God knows just what to do to get moms through these days.
