I am feeling pretty good. I think that either I have gotten used to all the little aches and pains or they really aren't around much. I have found that if I keep exercising, I feel so much better. The hard part is, I am pretty tired. The past month has had its ups and downs at the doctor. About 4 weeks ago, I went to the specialist and was told my amniotic fluid levels were high. This can be caused by birth defects, gestational diabetes or unknown causes. After being checked for the first two, I fall into the 50% of cases that have an unknown cause, which is actually what I would prefer of the three. I now go back once a week for an ultrasound to measure my levels. At first they were going back and forth between high and average but the past two weeks my fluid levels have been in the normal range. Because of my chronic high pressure, I will continue to go for an ultrasound weekly along with a non-stress test weekly at my regular OB doctor office. At my last appointment, the nurse said I am on coast now as long as everything stays as good as it is. I am hoping praying for another full term pregnancy.
This baby is an active little one. She often pokes back at the ultrasound technician whenever the wand pushes on my stomach. She has finally turned so her head isn't under my right rib, which was greatly appreciated. She weighs 3 pounds 12 ounces according to the last ultrasound. These are usually not completely accurate but it puts her in the 38th percentile for weight.
On another note, it is very difficult not to buy every cute girly thing I see. So far, I have been pretty good. We will see if that continues. Here are the latest pictures of me and the baby.
