Big Boy Bed

Before we left for our trip, we bought Liam his "big boy bed."  We had a queen bed in the spare bedroom so we decided to just put some rails up and get some furniture and make it Liam's.  The nursery will stay the nursery.  I picked out the new bedding for it too and we are working on transforming it from blue and brown to a nice "girly" room.  Liam is so excited about his new bed.  Each day we were working on it, he would ask to see it.  The night we got home was his first night in the bed.  He was beyond excited, as you will see in the pictures.  Since then he has done great.  I think it is still the "honeymoon" stage of things but we will take it.  He often asks to go to bed.  He sure is Blake's son!  We still have some finishing touches to do on the room but here are the pictures from his first night.

The bed is SO big!

We went in to see how he slept.  The first night we woke him up almost so this is the second night.  We thought we would see him in a funny spot but here he was, exactly where we left him.
