Marlo 7 Months

Our little girl sure is getting big.  This week she turned 7 months old.  Marlo is babbling a little but the sound we hear most, sounds like Weeeeee!!  I am convinced she is just saving 'mama' for Mother's Day this Sunday.   She is starting to explore her mobility by rolling and turning on her tummy.  At night, she is almost acrobatic in her crib.  She moves all over the place!  Marlo loves jumping in a jumperoo or exersaucer as well.

We have thought Marlo could be teething for the last week and a half but still no sign of teeth yet.  She is drooling and has had a runny nose for quite some time.  We can only guess when the first one will appear:)

Marlo is sleeping very well.  She continues to go to bed around 7 and wake up between 7 and 8 in the morning and take 3 naps a day.  She must be doing a lot of growing while she sleeps because she has almost outgrown her 9 month clothes.  This was the quickest turnaround in size yet!

Marlo continues to be a good eater.  My most recent surprise was her love of broccoli.  I remember Liam would not even open his mouth for it so I was not real optimistic, but I thought I would offer it anyway.  She ate the whole bowl the first time!  The only food she has tried and spit out immediately is peas.  Liam did the same thing but loves them now that they aren't pureed.  The only drawback with Marlo and food is when she is finished.  She has discovered she can spit her food and more times than not, I have ended up wearing what she is eating.  We are working on sign language for "all done" instead:)  We have started giving Marlo puffs while we eat dinner to help her practice picking food up and putting it in her mouth.  So far she is not interested.  We will also start offering her a sippy cup of water this week.  I am sure she will like chewing on it if nothing else.

On a walk and sitting up in the jogging stroller for the first time.  Marlo loved it!

Taking a bath with my big brother.  He's a pretty fun guy:)

Marlo loved splashing!

7 months and so happy

Look, Liam can help feed me my bottle now
