Marlo--10 Months

Marlo is now 10 months old.  Her main accomplishments this month are her two bottom teeth, clapping, giving kisses, and standing while holding on to something.  She loves standing because she can reach so much more.  She hasn't quite figured out how to get back down though.  I prefer walking over crawling any day so even though we are a while from it, I will be happy to get there.  Then, she can just take her time before she hits the running stage.

Marlo has a lot to say and usually very loudly.  She smiles and waves at people at the grocery store or anywhere that we are out.  I love how much a baby can brighten someone's day!  Marlo's favorite activities are standing, playing in the playroom, rolling balls back and forth, listening to/making music,  playing in Duncan's water dish (which we are desperately trying to stop), playing with Liam, and peek-a-boo.  Marlo will take almost anything and cover her face to play peek-a-boo with you.  Also, just recently we had a play microphone and I was talking and singing in it.  I handed it to her and she did the same.  So cute!  I love that she is starting to understand things more and more.

Marlo continues to be a great eater.  Her favorite foods are peaches and broccoli, however, I have noticed that the girl loves carbs.  If I give her a variety of foods at a time, she will almost always eat the carbs first and then the other things.  She continues to love yogurt but isn't a huge fan of cottage cheese. She doesn't seem to love cheese as much as Liam did either.  This could definitely change the older she gets.  Marlo is eating only finger foods except for her cereal, applesauce, and yogurt, which I feed to her.  I am so thankful she is an easy, quick, and good eater.

Marlo has transitioned to 2 naps a day.  She struggles from about 4:30 until bedtime with being fussy.  I try to hold her off until around 6:00 to eat dinner with us but many nights she ends up eating before then.  She usually gets a bottle sometime around 6:30 and then goes to bed by 7:00.  Because she has been teething and transitioning to 2 solid naps, she has had a really hard time even staying up until 7.  Many nights this past week we have put her down by 6:45.

We love our active, curious, and smiley little girl.  She is getting so big!

Someone found the toilet paper...it was all over the place

such a mess but one happy girl

Caught red handed with a bottle of wine just her size.  I have these little bottles for cooking and  Marlo finds them in the pantry every day and plays with them.  I tried to get a picture with her holding it up like she was drinking it but I couldn't get it....another time:)

Marlo loves being independent in the playroom

These pictures are harder and harder to get.  She was climbing all over the chair
