Big Girl Bed

This past weekend we moved Marlo to her "big girl bed."  We already had our old bed in the guest bedroom so that is what she will be using.  We wanted to get her adjusted before the baby comes.  So far, she has done well.  It takes her longer to go to sleep because there is so much to explore but the crying has been minimal.  The first night I made the mistake of leaving lotion and Qtips within her reach and she emptied the whole box of Qtips and opened the lotion by the time I got to her.  Her big brother also wanted to "just check on her" several times.  Once we got those things under control, she was finally asleep around 9:30.  We got her the same wake up clock as Liam, where we set the wake up time and it turns green to let her know she can get up.  I wasn't sure if she was too young to understand it but she does and has been following it pretty well.  Marlo has always loved cuddling with blankets, pillows, and stuffed animals so I think she feels right at home in her new bed.  She is so excited to show people her new room and bathroom when they come over.
