Pumpkin Carving 2013

This year pumpkin carving was a lot of fun.  I went online and found websites with templates and the kids picked theirs out.  Marlo chose Minnie Mouse and Liam chose a moon with three bats flying in front of it.  We carved into our pumpkins and Liam still does not have any desire to touch the insides. As we do each year, we stuck his hand in for at least one ooey gooey feel.  Marlo just thought it felt funny and really wasn't interested in touching it over and over but did help get the seeds out.  Blake was in charge of the top and clean out and I was in charge of the carving.  Minnie Mouse was a little harder than I thought but I was happy with how it turned out.  Marlo and Liam were so excited when we lit the candles for the first time inside and they saw their designs light up.
