Arden is 6 Months Old

Arden turned 6 months old yesterday.  When we went to the doctor, she weighed in at 18 pounds 4 oz (85th percentile) and 27.3 inches long(95th percentile).  The doctor was happy with how she is growing.  She did however, show a slight astigmatism when she did the routine eye test so that will be checked again at her one year appointment.

Arden is eating about 5 times a day including one serving of cereal around dinner time.  She takes naps about every 1.5 hours throughout the day and is sleeping through the night very well.  Unfortunately, our mornings are so busy that she doesn't get much of a nap and makes up for it in the afternoon.  She is a very "go with the flow" baby.

Arden got her first two teeth this past month.  They didn't seem to bother her at all.  In fact, we didn't even notice she was getting them until a friend mentioned it to me.  Arden is getting more and more grabby and reaching for everything.  She loves chewing on just about anything and her favorite toy right now is her cloth book.  Arden likes her jumperoo and is very happy just to be on the floor playing with toys and rolling around.  She is interested in sitting up and loves her gumbo but isn't quite ready to sit up on her own just yet.

Arden is wearing 9 month clothes.
