Visiting Aunt Laura at School

Since Liam and Marlo are out of school and Laura is still teaching, we were able to go see her and spend some time with her class of 6 eighth graders.  On this day, they were having a fiesta and the kids got to join in on steal the bacon, balloon popping races, and tag.  It was fun to watch and Liam and Marlo felt special to be a part of it.  They also got to enjoy a tasty treat when they were done.  I was super impressed by the genuine kindness and care the students showed to Marlo and Liam.  I didn't expect 8th grade boys to sit and talk to my kids and really want to see what is important to them.  Great kids!!!
