Our Birthday 2014

Laura and I celebrated our birthday on April 3rd.  I started the day off with breakfast at Panera just the 5 of us.  I got my present then from Blake.  He gave me a lens that attaches to my phone.  It connects through its on wifi and I can see the image on my phone.  The pictures are much better quality that my regular phone.  I am having fun learning how to use it.

Blake surprised me and came home early with a chocolate cake I had mentioned (several times) I wanted and told me to go take a nap.  For this mom of 3 little ones, that was the BEST present ever!!  I love sharing my birthday with Laura.  The kids had fun celebrating too...treats all day:)  Liam especially enjoyed my cake!!

Unfortunately, I was recovering from a stomach virus and Laura was in the middle of it so we didn't exactly get to celebrate as much as we wanted to. We made it to lunch but by dinner, Laura couldn't eat anything and went home.  She was super sick for the next few days as well.  We decided she gets a birthday dinner redo.

The following weekend, Blake and I went out to celebrate just the two of us.  We went for drinks to Vin25 and then to Osteria Mattone for dinner.  Dinner was awesome!!  It was an authentic Italian restaurant with homemade pasta.  I can't wait to go back.  The evening was perfect to sit outside and enjoy the weather too.  I couldn't have asked for a better night.
