Liam is 3 weeks old today. This past week has been an adjustment because it was our first week without any visitors. The visitors were a huge help, but it is nice to settle in to as much of a routine as we can on our own. The first day was rough because I hadn't had much sleep the night before and Liam was wanting to be held all day. Since this is a learning experience for us both, I have learned how to keep him busy while I do simple things like eat breakfast. This has made me much happier in the morning. I am enjoying staying at home, but by the end of the week last week, I was dying to get out. I got extremely excited for a trip to Costco and Jimmy Johns on Saturday. At least Blake humored me and found a reason we needed to go somewhere.
We think Liam is about 8 and a half pounds or so. His newborn clothes are quite snug so we just switched out his pajamas last night to the 0-3 months size. He is just too long for his onesies and pajamas. He moves around a lot when he is awake but prefers being swaddled when he is asleep. We love the Kiddopotamus Swaddle Me swaddlers. If you have an infant and have not tried them, we HIGHLY recommend it.
Yesterday was Blake's first Father's Day. I always knew Blake would be a great dad but he is absolutely amazing. He is very helpful with bathing, changing diapers, changing clothes, and anything else Liam needs. Saturday I was getting ready to leave and I heard some noise from Liam's room. I walked in and Liam's ipod was on with some "kid music" and Blake was singing along to Liam happy as can be. It was very cute. Those of you that know Blake well, know his love of singing. I am sure Liam will be hearing more of this whether he wants to or not. So far, he seemed to like it. Here is a picture of Blake and his boys. Liam loves sleeping on Blake like this. My legs just aren't quite long enough for that:)

Liam has such long legs! He's going to be so tall.
That's what I was thinking! Make sure you keep getting out of the house so you don't go stir crazy. Go on a lot of hot, humid walks if you have to. haha. It was great to catch up a little Saturday and I'll let you know what Jenny and I decide.
Totally agree on the Swaddlers! Love them...have about five! :)
