I apologize for not updating this sooner. We have been busy with pet visitors, friends visiting, and the everyday challenges of having a 3 month old. Liam is doing well. As his Aunt Laura would say, "I think he has grown since the last time I saw him." We aren't sure how big he is but estimate that it is over 15 pounds. Liam is grabbing and kicking at objects, talking a lot, and trying to roll over. So far he gets to his side but can't make the final move over without help. He is enjoying tummy time more lately and we have heard a few giggles and found some ticklish spots too. He loves listening to music and being sung to. He is starting to want to put thing in his mouth, including his hands. He continues to go to bed between 7 and 8 at night and wake around 7 in the morning with two night feedings usually between 12-1am and 4am.

Liam has also been challenging us. He decided a few weeks ago that he no longer was going to take a bottle. I of course did not agree with this decision. After anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour at a time of crying and refusing the bottle, he would decide to take it. We have been very persistent, giving him a bottle almost daily and it is getting better. He has even taken a few bottles with no crying at all. We will keep working on this especially because he has to take a bottle when we travel to IL, which we will be doing soon to go see our new nephew:)

Liam also is struggling to nap consistently. He will go down without crying but he will usually wake up after about 40 minutes. That would be fine if he was actually rested, but he isn't . By the time afternoon comes, he is so overtired that he is a mess. This has led to a few meltdowns at the gym and the babies room at my church where I am volunteering on Tuesdays. We are working on this but so far haven't seen much change. We will keep trying.

This past week I had some high school friends visiting, Jenny and Renee. It was great to see them and catch up. They were great with Liam and Duncan loved them too. I also started tutoring a 6th grade student for Math. It is through a teacher at Hopewell (my school I left) so it is nice since I already know the content. It felt great to teach again. I am going to see how this goes and then hopefully add one or two more students if possible.

As I said above, we have a new nephew. Corbin Alexander Siron was born on September 1st. We are heading to see him and our family this weekend. I can't wait!
