Christmas Begins--Tree Decorating

This year has been the most fun Christmas I have had in a while because we get to see it through the eyes of Liam.  He is excited and amazed by everything.  The first thing we did for the season was get our tree and decorate it, along with the rest of the house.  We usually put up our 12 foot fake tree, which is quite a task.  This year, we decided to get a real tree.  We got our hot chocolate and drove to pick one out.  Liam had a blast running through all the trees and hiding.  After bringing it home and getting the lights on, we started unwrapping the ornaments.  Both Blake and I got ornaments growing up each year and were given them to take with us when we moved out.  We have continued this tradition with Liam and also give each other an ornament each year.  I love opening them all up and remembering past years.  This year Liam was in charge of unwrapping with Blake while I hung the majority of the ornaments.  We did let Liam hang some too.  Marlo, as you will see in the picture below, was there but fast asleep.
