I am a little late in writing this but I will just write it as if she were one month old:)
Marlo is one month old. I am guessing she is around 11 pounds. She is a healthy, strong little girl. She is starting to be more aware of those around her, especially her Mommy and Daddy. She will follow Blake's voice just about anywhere. She is sleeping and eating in 3 hour intervals during the day and 3-4 hour intervals at night. She is definitely more of a cuddler than Liam. He would not let us rock him so any time he needed to sleep, we just put him down awake and he went right to sleep. This is not the case with Marlo. She enjoys being rocked to sleep and if she wakes up, she may need to be rocked again and put back more than one time. A good mix of the two would be great!
Whoever said that you have to watch boys when you change their diapers, never had our little girl. She has gone to the bathroom on me several times when I have changed her. It is almost a joke at how many diapers I go through just to change her one time. The record is 4 or 5. I am enjoying dressing her up and really enjoying the newborn/infant stage much more this time. I find that I am more relaxed and not as worried about schedules as I was with Liam. I also know how short this stage is and want to enjoy every minute.
Marlo is wearing 0-3 month clothing and 3 month pajamas. We are thankful for our healthy girl.
