Stone Mountain is a local tourist attraction in Atlanta. Because of where we live and where it is located, traffic is horrible to get to it and we really haven't ventured over there since we had kids. They have so much to do for kids and adults. We decided to do a little "staycation" there the last weekend in June. We got an amazing deal on tickets and hotel at the Marriott there. We enjoyed a picnic and the laser show the first night and the next day we had an awesome breakfast at the hotel before we headed off to ride the lift up the mountain, saw the sights from the top, headed down, played in all the attractions, "Rode the Ducks," and rode the train. The kids loved taking the shuttle to the park too because they got to use "real" seat belts. They enjoyed spotting the mountain through all the trees. Marlo must have said "mountain" hundreds of times. I would highly recommend this to everyone.

Liam showed up with his bag packed at 6:00am, READY!!! Notice he found a randome remote control to bring...I guess he is always prepared.
Picnicking before the laser show. Thanks Liam for a great picture, once again

I promise I did not pose them...think they are related???
trying to get a picture of Blake and I...Marlo wasn't having it
Blake shooting these little nerf-like balls across at Liam. I am not sure who had more fun in here, Blake or Liam
Riding the Ducks. The driver was nice enough to let all the kids drive the boat.
