Arden 7 Months

Arden turned 7 months on June 21st.  Her most major milestone this past month is sitting up.  I kept thinking, "why isn't she sitting up yet?"  The other two sat up right around 6 months.  Then it hit me...she really hasn't tried or practiced it.  We are always going going going or I am putting her in the jumperoo, which she loves.  So I started sitting her up on the floor with pillows to support and guess what...within a week, she was sitting up.  She loves being able to see around and will sit and play with whatever she can get her hands on very contently.  Arden loves to laugh at anything and everything Liam does.  We can also see her little mind starting to process what we say.  When we say, "bounce" she will bounce/jump in her jumperoo.

Arden is eating solid foods and in a good routine.  She likes most things she has tried (pears, carrots, peaches, avocado,)except for broccoli.  I have to make sure that it is completely pureed or she will gag and sometimes throw it right back up.  We have experienced this with banana and avocado.  Arden takes a morning nap, afternoon nap, and a little cat nap if there is time.  She is up for about and hour and a half in between naps unless we are out and she will push it a little more.

Arden's most unique skill she has shown us this month is whistling  I am really not sure how she does it but I kept thinking, surely she isn't whistling, but she was.  It is mainly when she gets excited or I guess when she purses her little lips and breathes in and out.  Really interesting and fun to see:)

We love our little peanut!!
