Sick, Sick, Sick

Arden got an ear infection mid June.  After being on her antibiotic for a week, she spiked a fever.  I now think it was another virus but at the time, we took it as the first antibiotic wasn't working.  Well after the doctor checked her out, he felt that she had a sinus infection.  They put her on Augmentin and told me to give it to each day and when she was symptom free, continue for 7 more days.  That was a long time and that medicine tore her little tummy up!! She was miserable.  For three days, she just laid on me or Blake and ran a fever and hardly ate.  I enjoyed the cuddles but felt so bad for her.  She eventually started doing better and we finally got through the medicine and all the yuck in July.  One very important thing we learned through all of this...Arden doesn't run a fever when she has an ear infection.  She just starts acting "not like herself."  This was a huge change from Liam who always spiked a high fever with ear infections.  Now we know:)
