38 weeks

Sunday was 38 weeks. We are preparing for out little guy's arrival anytime. We know that he is fully developed and is just fattening up at this point. We went to the doctor on Friday and the ultrasound showed that he weighs around 7 pounds, 7 ounces. He should be around 20 inches long as well. The technician said that from what she saw, he would not be arriving this weekend. So far, she has been right. We got to see him sticking out his tongue and moving around a lot. The space inside is so crunched it is hard to really see much when we are getting our ultrasounds now.

This past week/weekend we have been relaxing and hanging out with friends. We have slept in and finished up some last minute things on our "to do" list. I am very thankful that I am still sleeping well.

Friday was my last day with students. I am glad I made it through the year. I go back on Tuesday to clean out the rest of my things and turn in my computer and keys.

I go this week for my regular Tuesday and Friday appointment as long as there is no other excitement. I talked with the doctor last Tuesday about when they would schedule my induction. So far we have only gotten out of them that it will be between 39 and 40 weeks. I don't think they are too worried since my blood pressure has been fine. I will ask again this Tuesday to see how this whole process works.

Here is the most recent picture of my belly and a "family" picture. I am still having a little swelling here and there but nothing major. The weather here has been rainy the entire week but Duncan and I have been getting walks in when we can. I feel uncomfortable at times but overall am feeling pretty well.
