Today marks 39 weeks. Wow! We can't believe the time is finally here. I really feel like I have needed every moment to prepare both emotionally and physically. Of course, you are never really prepared. Blake and I are very excited to meet our little guy. Blake has been so excited that for several nights during the week he was not able to sleep, which if you know him well is NOT like him at all. Luckily, this weekend he did get some sleep. I have been sleeping on and off but overall, pretty well. Yesterday I started feeling achy, uncomfortable, and heavy. I can feel his movements lower than before and Blake thinks my belly has dropped a little. I really can't tell. I feel like he is taking up every inch. Hopefully he is preparing to arrive since his arrival date is very close.
When I went to the doctor Tuesday my blood pressure was still good, weight is fine, etc... The doctor even joked again that maybe pregnancy has cured my high blood pressure. The non-stress test started off a little slow. The baby was sleeping, which I definitely like to encourage, but not for the 30 minutes they are watching to see his activity. They had me drink some ice water to wake him up and he finally started moving around. I was thankful because the doctor said if he didn't start moving, we were going to have to go to the hospital again. We talked about when they are going to induce and he said that since I was not dilated at all, I need to come in next week for my regular appointment and from there, we will schedule my induction. I am guessing it won't be Tuesday, but we really don't know. It will be sometime next week though.
Friday we went to the specialist and saw our last ultrasound of our little guy. He is pretty cramped in there so it is hard to see anything. The doctor said all looked normal.
We are so thankful that I have had such a great pregnancy considering all of the "high risk" possibilities we were told at the beginning. We couldn't have imagined things going so well. Thank you everyone for your prayers throughout these 9 months. We are praying for a healthy delivery and will keep you all posted when our little boy arrives.

Too stinkin' cute! Good luck with childbirth...and parenting! It's the best thing in the world. You'll both be great at it. :)
If you had only known labor was literally right around the corner as you were typing this!!! Hope all is well. Still waiting to hear!!!
I was just thinking that too! How strange it is to think that you had Liam the very next day!
