At Liam's check up he was 43 pounds and 43 inches tall. He continues to be a curious kid who loves learning and loves people. He is starting to learn how to read simple sight words and do simple addition and Math. He cares more about things like coloring and is finally coloring inside the lines. Liam loves baseball, swimming, being our personal photographer, building Legos, playing outside, playing games, and much more. While his favorite food is macaroni and cheese, he is branching out so much more and trying new things all the time. His favorite colors are red and blue, and favorite movie is Lego movie, favorite TV show is transformers. His best friends are IV, Sawyer, Caleb, Miles, and Chloe.
Liam is such a social, friendly kid. He often would be caught talking to new 'friends' on the baseball field while covering a base and never leaves a place without playing with someone new. When asked what he wants to be when he grows up, Liam wants to be an inventor. We are enjoying this age so much. Liam is fun to be around and a lot of the behaviors that we weren't so fond of from the 3s and 4s are gone. Of course we deal with Liam trying to be more independent than he can be at 5 but it is all age appropriate.
Speaking of independence...Liam can shower himself now, feed Duncan, set the table, fold blankets and towels, and brush his teeth in the mornings. He is a big help when I need him. Liam loves his sisters and they think he is the greatest thing ever. Yes, they do fight, but the girls look up to him so much. Liam gives some of the best hugs a mom could ask for and loves his family (and even likes to be around them still). We love our big guy and can't believe he is headed to Kindergarten soon.
