THE TESLA IS HERE!!! THE TESLA IS HERE!!!

May 28th...the glorious day that was better than Christmas for Blake.  After years of researching, months of watching Youtube videos, showing the kids the videos, telling anyone who wanted to know about it, test driving, online ordering, our TESLA S was ready!!!!  The kids could tell you more about it than I could.  They have truly watched so many videos.  Rick and Jean were in town and Rick went with Blake to pick it up.  They went straight to drop it off at the shop to get it protected with a special film.  The next day, we went to pick it up.

The highlights.....

It's 100% electric...can go 265 miles on a full charge

Two rear facing seats in the back with 5 point harnesses...NO CARSEATS for the two older ones and they get to ride backwards!!

So quiet, smooth and FAST...you can feel the g-force on you when the driver floors it

Its like a big computer.  You can track your charge, location, and much more right from your phone

The frunk (trunk in the front where a standard car's engine would be)

WE LOVE IT!!!


We have gotten so many looks, questions, honks and conversations with strangers.  Its been fun and honestly, worth every penny.  It holds more than the highlander and is way more efficient for space and of course energy:)

Blake and I went on a "date night" and drove to see if we could sneak a peak a couple days early
