Bloomington Birthday Celebration

While we were in Bloomington for Jean's retirement party, we were also able to have a little family birthday party for Liam.  He had a pretty rough day with a fall down the stairs, bump on his cheek, busted lip and only a 30 minute nap.  We really didn't know what we would be in for by the time the party came.  It was a real treat to have all his grandparents and most of his great grandparents there.   Liam loved all the toys and when he found clothes, he just threw them out and kept looking for more.  At the end of opening gifts, he went around and gave each person there a hug, which was super sweet and a very special moment for us.  We went with the them of Sesame Street since he loves all the characters and is really in to numbers and letters right now.  The cake looked amazing and tasted great too.  I had Colleen Stephens make it in Bloomington and I would highly recommend her if you are in the area.

The day turned out to be so much fun!  Blake and I have talked a lot about how great it is to see the world through our little guy's eyes.  I think we enjoy his birthdays more than we have enjoyed many of our own.

The awesome cake!!

Liam loved the cake too!

This is a picture at my Grandma Siron's house.  Every grandchild in our whole family, which is a lot, has crawled in that table and popped up through the middle.  It is fun to see the next generation enjoy it just as much.
