Bake Day 2013

We had our annual bake day the second weekend in December.  A lot of people asked me how I managed to do this with having a new baby.  Well, to begin with, I love baking.  It is a form of stress relief for me along with the fact I love holidays and the traditions they hold.  Secondly, with the two other kids around, we needed activities to keep us busy.  Baking is a great one.  I did forget that I really wouldn't have big chunks of time to get anything done since I had to do everything in between feedings with Arden.  That proved to be the biggest obstacle but we made it work.  We did scale back this year and didn't make as many cookies as we usually would but overall, the kids got to sample each kind and help make them so they were happy and so was I.
