Sayre Christmas 2013

This Christmas, we started out by meeting the Sayre family (Blake's mom's side of the family) in Missouri.  Before the festivities began, we honored a wonderful man, Dale Sayre, Blake's grandpa.  He ended his battle with cancer at the end of November and we had a ceremony to honor him right when everyone came in town for Christmas.  He was a strong, hardworking, and caring man who is greatly missed!!

We rented a huge house in Lake of the Ozarks and over 20 of us came together for a few days to celebrate family and Christmas.  It was so much fun and nice to have everyone together.  The kids enjoyed playing with all of the other little ones there.  The only drawback was getting our "precious" Marlo to sleep with everyone else in the room.  She just didn't know what to do with herself.

The festivities began with games of beer pong and we spent the days talking, laughing, eating yummy food, and just relaxing with each other.  Here are some pictures from our trip...many of them thanks to Jean:)
