Blueberry Picking 2013

About mid-July, the blueberries were ready for us to pick at the local blueberry "farm."  Unfortunately, since we have had such a cloudy, rainy summer, not too many were ripe.  The farmer said we really needed lots of 100 degree sunny days for them.  This made the picking a little more work than usual but we had fun.  Liam helped quite a bit and Marlo ate and ate but didn't quite get the whole "picking" idea.  After about 2 hours of picking we got our buckets pretty full.  We have enjoyed many blueberry treats and froze the rest for later the fall/winter.
