Liam and Marlo have been in school for about a month now. Liam loves his teachers and really seems to be enjoying learning. I was worried about all the boys together again in his class and that he would struggle with keeping his talking and silliness under control, but so far, he has done great. He is learning the difference between consonants and vowels and working on writing his letters and numbers even better (he had most of the letters but struggles with numbers like 3 and 5). I love watching him develop these skills. He is a sponge for new information and especially enjoyed his recent Stranger Danger presentation from a local policeman. He tries out his new Spanish words on me and can't wait for Aunt Laura to come so he can learn even more and share with her what he has learned at school. Luckily, it is pretty simple so far and I understand too:)
Marlo is doing well at school too. Her teacher says she is very verbal. She looks forward to going into her classroom and loves putting her own backpack and things away. She is learning her shapes and colors. She has the colors pretty much down but does mix them up sometimes.
With Liam in school from 9-1:00 Monday through Thursday, Marlo and I have a lot of time on our own. It is fun to see her personality when Liam isn't around. She is more outgoing and loves the individual attention. She also loves not having to share anything:)
Here are some pictures from the past week or so that I have taken of our days together.
